Overview of a successful small dredging job

This video show the steps taken through a hydraulic dredging project.  This Hydraulic dredging project was completed in August 2017 in Swansea, IL.  We removed close to 10,000 cubic yards of Sediment from 3 Coves.  The Sediment was pumped into 60’x200′ foot dewatering tubes.  Polymers were used to flocculate the slurry before it enters the bags to increase the speed of dewatering.  The amphibious excavator was used to remove sediment from around docks and seawall where the hydraulic dredge would have difficulty maneuvering.

Wisconsin Firebreak Maintenance

Cleared about 30 acres of brush and trees in Wisconsin this spring. Also scarified 90 acres of firebreaks.

We added a Marshall Tree Saw to drop larger diameter trees this year, it worked great and really helped with production

Frontenac Pond Cleaning

Cleaning out a small pond in Frontenac. Loaded mud straight into trucks instead of letting it dewater in the yard. Thanks to MK Trucking for trucks with tight tailgates we didn’t have any cleanup to do in the streets.
